Continuing Professional Development for Solicitors and Legal Practitioners
As we enter the second half of 2023, we are thrilled to continue to offer our popular and free CPD webinars to all solicitors and legal practitioners, whether you are an instructing client or not.
These sessions are a fantastic way to gain CPD over your lunchbreak, which count towards your annual CPD declaration to the SRA. They are also an invaluable resource to gaining a real understanding into the practicalities of investigation work and how you can use Tremark’s services whilst staying compliant.
There are three sessions which combined give you a holistic understanding of legal service investigations. These run monthly and last 60 minutes each. CPD certificates are available on full attendance and completion. Follow this link here to book on the upcoming webinars:

Excellent webinar which was very informative. Having attended this previously I wanted to watch the webinar again to ensure my knowledge was up to date.
1. PRACTICALITIES OF PROCESS SERVING (DURATION 1 hour)
How do you serve papers to a difficult and evasive respondent?
In this webinar, we explain how process servers manage aggressive or slippery respondents, and how you, as a solicitor, can help us to achieve successful service.
We share our extensive knowledge and some useful tips on how to obtain orders for substituted service and what you can do to avoid unnecessary delays. We’ll also have an experienced process server online to share their first-hand experiences and answer any questions that you may have.
This one is not to be missed!
2. LAWFUL INVESTIGATIONS (DURATION 1 HOUR)
Private Investigators posing as journalists to hack phones and spy on politicians, royalty and celebrities is still making the headlines over ten years after the Leveson Inquiry into the private investigative sector.
Despite the Leveson report making several recommendations at the time, the profession still remains unregulated. However, not all private investigative companies are cut from the same cloth. Here at Tremark, we work hard to work within the regulations of the law, comply with the Data Protection Act and consider the privacy of an individual.
This webinar explains how you can meet GDPR requirements and demonstrate legal compliance when you want to investigate and process a person’s data without their consent. This in turn will allow you to assist clients who want to trace people or assets, without undermining your position in law.
3. PEOPLE and ASSET TRACING (DURATION 1 hour)
How do you trace someone who doesn’t want to be found?
With over 25 years of tracing debtors, beneficiaries and lost family members, we think we have got it covered to get a positive search whilst staying legally compliant, and in this webinar we tell you how we do it.
Through a mixture of case studies, discussion of techniques and explanation of methodology we will demonstrate to you how we reveal hidden information and data. We’ll also show you how we use that data combined with the skills of our expert investigators, to uncover people, assets and liabilities that were previously untraceable.
If these webinars sound helpful to you or your colleagues, sign up for a session today. Places are limited, so click here to check dates and register.
Great summary of the possibilities available and how data can be used. Made me want to do people tracing work!
