Our History

1995

Tremark started its business

Mark Hodgson founded Tremark Associates Limited at the tender age of 25, after working first as a paralegal in debt recovery and legal strategies for DLA Solicitors and then at Dun and Bradstreet International where he honed information gathering and people tracing services.

Tremark started its business in debt collection and evolved to bring in surveillance, process serving, asset and people tracing as its specialisms.

2006

R3 Membership

Founder, Mark Hodgson, gains R3 membership – The Association of Business Recovery Professionals.

2009

Investigator of the Year

Mark Hodgson is named ‘Investigator of the Year’ by the National Association of Investigators and Process Servers.

2010

Tremark Headquarters

Tremark purchases their own offices Joshua Chambers, York Road, Leeds, West Yorkshire.

2013

WAD Membership

Tremark become full members of the World Association of Detectives.

2014

ABI Membership

Tremark Associates became one of only two companies to achieve corporate membership of the Association of British Investigators. This is in addition to Tremark’s directors being full members of the Association for over 10 years.

2014

Quality Accreditations

Tremark obtains both British Standard and International status accreditations BS102000:2018 and ISO9001:2015 showcasing their commitment to quality and compliance.

2015

Frank Martin Award

Mark Hodgson wins the Frank Martin Award issued by the Association of British Investigators. The award is presented to a member who is considered to have served the Association of British Investigators and the Investigative Industry above and beyond the call of duty.

2012

London Office Opens

Tremark’s London office opens just off Chancery Lane.

2015

Tremark ASP

Tremark forms subsidiary Tremark ASP to act on the behalf of international clients to meet their process agent needs in England and Wales.

2016 and 2018

ABI President

Mark Hodgson serves as President of the Association of British Investigators.
