Data Protection

We conducted a comprehensive review of our data protection practices and became signatories to the Information Commissioner’s Office Personal Information Promise, demonstrating our senior-level commitment to data protection. Additionally, we are registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office (Registration Number Z6357413).

International Investigative Compliance

Tremark became full members of the World Association of Detectives, ensuring that all our overseas assignments adhere to local laws and regulations.

2014

Attainment of the British Standard BS102000

We obtained certification to the British Standard BS102000, showcasing our accountability for conduct, management, staffing, and operational responsibility. This certification was granted after extensive auditing by the UKAS-accredited certification body SSAIB. Tremark is audited annually to ensure continued competence.

Achievement of Corporate Membership of The Association of British Investigators

Tremark Associates became one of only two companies to achieve corporate membership of the Association of British Investigators. This is in addition to Tremark’s directors being full members of the Association for over 10 years. The company is subject to a strict Code of Practice and Professional Standards and to a robust complaints and discipline procedure, with escalation to an independent adjudicator.

2014

Financial Conduct Authority Review

On 1st April 2014 the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) took over from the Office of Fair Trading (OFT) as the new consumer credit regulator of debt recovery activities (to include some associated investigative activities). Tremark underwent a thorough review by the Financial Conduct Authority, demonstrating our compliance with regulations governing debt recovery and associated investigative activities.

Attainment of the International Quality Management System ISO9001

Tremark’s pursuit of excellence led us to achieve ISO 9001 certification, indicating our commitment to quality service delivery. Tremark is audited annually to ensure continued competence.

2015

Pearson EDL Qualified Investigators

Tremark internal investigators obtained Pearson EDL Level 3 Award for Professional Investigators (QFL). This qualification demonstrates a professional working knowledge of conducting investigations, undertaking surveillance and handling evidence.

2018

GDPR – Compliance

In response to the EU GDPR, Tremark audited all data and processes, overhauled policies, and ensured full compliance. All employees received comprehensive training, and subcontractors are now bound by strict data processing and service level agreements.
Every instruction undergoes a Data Privacy Impact Assessment (DPIA) by our experts to ensure UK GDPR compliance.

FSQS accredited

Tremark gains its FSQS accreditation, ensuring seamless service to multiple banks and insurance clients within the financial sector. FSQS, a standardised and comprehensive register, simplifies supplier compliance and manages vendor risks efficiently.

2022

Cyber Essentials accredited

In accordance with the National Cyber Security Centre’s (NCSC) cybersecurity strategy to make the UK a safer place to conduct business online, Tremark gains Cyber Essentials. This is a UK government-backed certification scheme designed to help organisations protect themselves against common cyber threats.

Working towards ISO 27001

Tremark is working towards gaining ISO 27001 accreditation to remain at the forefront of industry standards. ISO 27001 is a globally recognised standard for information security management, providing a robust framework to protect against ever-increasing and sophisticated cyber and data security threats.
