Tremark Granted British Standard Certification
Introduced in 2013 British Standard BS102000 is a new code of practice that seeks to help providers of investigative services demonstrate their accountability at a time when the Government is implementing the licensing of such services.
Tremark is one of the first companies to be awarded this British Standard certification
Mark Hodgson, Tremark, Managing Director confirms “This British Standard gives recommendations for the conduct, management, staffing and operational accountability for the provision of investigative services and is a significant milestone in the independent assessment of quality assurance. We are delighted to be awarded this official approval particularly at a time when some private investigative individuals have tarnished our industry.
The award, part of a wider Home Office initiative that through The Security Industry Authority will ultimately see the licensing of private investigative services, is seen as further proof that businesses are competent, compliant, honest and responsible.
Mark continued “For many years we have supplied private investigative services to clients such as banks and solicitors who need relevant and legitimate evidence in support of their own clients. This award is further proof of our integrity and demonstrates the validity of our processes, systems and staff. I’m particularly pleased bearing in mind the amount of activity required to secure the award that we have, in a real sense, raised the standard within our industry and continue to be at its forefront”
