Increase in Official Receivers Deposits for Bankruptcy Actions

Solicitors acting for Petitioning Creditors should note that the Insolvency Creditor Deposit Fee (Official Receivers Deposit) is increasing from £700 to £750 from 6^th April 2014 and therefore a total payment of £970 will be required when issuing a Bankruptcy Petition.

The court issue fee remains at £220.  Most local courts also charge £45.00 to undertake the required bankruptcy search.
