In April 2026, the vibrant city of Casablanca, Morocco, hosted the World Association of Detectives (WAD) Mid-Term Meeting – the first time in the association’s history that the event has been held on the African continent. Held from 22 to 26 April at the Barceló Anfa Casablanca Hotel, the conference brought together investigators from across the globe for leadership meetings, networking, a welcome reception, luncheons, and a full-day cultural tour. The focus was on practical collaboration, sharing insights on cross-border challenges, and strengthening professional ties.
