Tremark training day and social – May 2023

We had a successful staff training day in Leeds City Centre this May 2023. All Tremark employees from across the country came together to enjoy the Leeds sunshine and brush up on their Data Protection and Information Security knowledge, as well as have a first demo of Tremark’s upcoming brand new Case Management System.

After a splendid and filling brunch at the Whitehall Restaurant and Bar we embarked on our training and team social. It was a busy and stimulating day but we even managed to find the time to fit in a photograph shoot by the River Aire. You can see our updated headshots on Our People webpage.

Training

Data Protection and Information Security don’t stand still in this day and age, and here at Tremark we are constantly learning, amending and monitoring our processes to fall in line with legal compliance. Whilst this could be considered rather dry fodder, Mark’s sessions proved to probe the team’s curiosity and some great discussions and interesting experiences were shared. So, rest assured, we have got GDPR and data protection covered when it comes to our private investigation services.

We are excited to be on the cusp of going live with our new Case Management System, GARIE (Global And Regional Investigation Engine). After many years of using our trusty old system, it is time to turn afresh and look for more efficient and effective ways of working so we can offer an even better service to our clients. The team are fully involved in the development process, and it was exciting to see a first demo of GARIE altogether.

Social

Here at Tremark we like balance, so what better way to end a thought-provoking and informative day than a huge game of darts? Leeds Flight Club hosted us and, well fed and watered, the games ensued. Some hidden darts champs were revealed in our investigations, and unsurprisingly, dart regular, Director of Operations and Investigations, Karl Brooker won the day.
