Free CPD webinars for solicitors and legal practitioners are back!
After a four-month hiatus, our highly acclaimed Continual Professional Development (CPD) webinars are back. With a history of exceptional popularity and glowing feedback, we are thrilled to reintroduce these free CPD sessions tailored for solicitors and legal practitioners.
Dive into a world of professional growth and insight during your cherished coffee breaks or lunch hours with our captivating webinars. These sessions will not only invigorate your mind but will also help fulfil your annual CPD obligations to the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA). Moreover, they are a priceless tool for gaining insights into the practical aspects of undertaking investigative work without breaking the law and whilst staying within legal compliance.
Comprising of three sessions designed to provide a comprehensive understanding of legal service investigations, these webinars take place nearly every month and each last between 45 to 60 minutes. Participants will receive CPD certificates, if requested, upon full attendance and completion.
Guiding you through these enlightening sessions is Karl Brooker, Tremark’s esteemed Commercial Director, boasting over seventeen years of experience within the Investigations team. From his tenure as an Investigator to his current role overseeing commercial operations and investigations, Karl brings unparalleled expertise and insights to the table.
Here’s a glimpse of what to expect from each webinar:
Practicalities of Process Serving:
Join Karl and one of Tremark’s seasoned Process Servers as they navigate the intricacies of dealing with challenging subjects, offering invaluable tips along the way.
Really useful intel around the subject and practical considerations both for IPs and servers themselves. In any event, should I require a Process Server, I will continue to use Tremark.
People and Asset Training:
Delve into the methodologies of tracing individuals and assets, exploring the utilization of subscription databases and open-source investigations.
I very much appreciated the information provided during the webinar, this will help us to make decisions as to which searches we need to ask for in the future. Many Thanks.
Lawful Investigations:
The introduction of GDPR has had the biggest impact on the investigation industry for 20 years. How do you investigate someone lawfully without their consent? Karl reveals all about the responsibilities of data controllers and strategies for lawful investigations without explicit consent.
This session has served as a very useful reminder of the importance to slow down in our busy professional lives and take stock of GDPR on each & every case. The presenter has very easy to follow, knowledgeable & made me feel confident that if I ever need help, then Tremark is certainly where I’ll come.
