Tremarks Marathon Man

Tremark managing director Mark Hodgson succesfully completed his first marathon on Sunday 26th April 2015 after finishing the Virgin London Marathon in a amazing time of 3 hours 37 minutes. Mark was running for the The Lords Taverners and raised over £3000 for the childrens charity.

Mark said immediatley after finishing the 26.2 mile challenge ‘I can’t really explain how relieved and proud of myself I felt at the finish. The training has been extremely hard with lots of ups and downs. I really wanted to do under 3 hours 45 minutes and get a respectable time. ‘The wall’ hit me hard at 22.5 miles and those next 3 or 4 miles were absoulutely horrendous, I have never felt pain and the urge to stop like that ever before’. 

He went on ‘I’d like to thank all those business partners amd friends who have supported my efforts on behalf of the Lord Taverners, the money raised will really make a big difference to some kids who have been dealt a really rough deal. I am very grateful for all the support and encouragement i’ve had’.
